Average asking and paid rent prices in select Census Metropolitan Areas by rental unit type. The breakdown by number of bedrooms is provided for apartments and houses. The results are based on an experimental approach, meaning they are derived from recent methodologies and may be subject to revisions. Quarterly data are available starting from the first quarter of 2019.
