Evaluation of the Implementation of the Protective Behavioural Analysis Unit - Final Report

The evaluation conducted by RCMP National Program Evaluation Services examined the implementation of the Protective Behavioural Analysis Unit (PBAU). The objective of the evaluation was to examine the effectiveness and efficiency of the implementation of the PBAU, to support the delivery of the Protective Policing program, with a focus on three calendar years from the period of 2020 to 2023. The evaluation examined the on-going needs of the PBAU, how effective is the design and implementation of the PBAU, to what extent the unit is effectively supporting protective policing and how sustainable the structure and design of the PBAU is in its current state.
