Avian species relative abundance - Forest - Mount-Revelstoke NP

Mount Revelstoke National Park provides important habitat for a wide range of bird species. As the most diverse land vertebrates, birds are an important indicator of ecosystem health. Yearly data are collected at these sites using audio recorders to determine trends in diurnal avian species abundance by species. Data can provide a number of ecological indices such as the effects of land use and climate change.
