Household and Dwelling Profiles 2021

Household and housing profiles were developed by the Real Estate and Housing Strategy Department in order to offer an in-depth analysis of the housing dimensions covered by the 2021 census. Produced at the level of the agglomeration, the city and the districts of Montreal, they present tables and highlights that cross the main variables relating to households (composition, number of children, age, immigration, students, income,) and on housing (housing costs, effort rate, effort rate, overcrowding, overcrowding, mode of occupancy, number of rooms, type of building, and state of maintenance). The data tables used for these reports are available on the following page: [Customized 2021 Census Order from the Real Estate and Housing Strategy Department] (https://donnees.montreal.ca/fr/dataset/commande-sh-recensement-2021). Household and housing profiles from previous censuses (2006, 2011 and 2016) are available on the [Montreal in Statistics] website (https://ville.montreal.qc.ca/portal/page?_pageid=6897,111351575&_dad=portal&_schema=PORTAL).
