2024 Reports of the Commissioner of the Environment and Sustainable Development to the Parliament of Canada—Report 6—The Canadian Critical Minerals Strategy

This audit focuses on whether Natural Resources Canada, in collaboration with other federal organizations, developed an appropriate governance and reporting structure to implement the Canadian Critical Minerals Strategy in a manner that protects the environment and supports Indigenous communities by identifying risks and mitigating impacts. It also focuses on whether Natural Resources Canada delivered on initial actions in support of the Canadian Critical Minerals Strategy under the Critical Minerals Geoscience and Data Initiative.
