A watercourse represents open channels of running water flowing within the District of Saanich. A watercourse is a river, stream, creek, waterway, lake, spring, swamp, marsh, or other natural body of fresh water; or a canal, ditch, reservoir or other man-made surface feature in which water flows constantly, intermittently or at any time.
