Heat Related Illness Reporting Data

This data also includes four key heat risk indicators: identification of heat warning days, daily minimum and maximum temperatures, and whether the Humidex reached 40 °C or higher. The dataset contains historical records from 2023 to the present year, covering the heat season from May through September. This dataset is visualized on Hamilton Public Health’s Heat-Related Illness Dashboard. The Dashboard also includes daily counts of heat-related presentations to emergency department, made available to Hamilton Public Health through a data sharing agreement, which are not authorized for inclusion in this open dataset.
