Traffic Diverters

The Traffic Diverter dataset focuses mostly on areas where large vehicles (such as fire trucks) will not be able to pass or move easily. All features marked on the map may not be physical features; rather they serve as a visual cue that this will be an impassable or difficult area to manoeuver large vehicles. It also includes a few roadway design features which are placed upon a street or roadway in order to block or restrict traffic from entering into, or exiting from, or both, any street. Please also see the Traffic Obstructions data, which includes many more traffic calming features. This layer is used in our Emergency Services mapping. Traffic Diverters data are updated manually as needed. Note: Attributes represent each field in a dataset, and some fields will contain information such as ID numbers. As a result some visualizations on the tabs on our Open Data page will not be relevant.
