This report provides an overview of Canada’s international development assistance for the fiscal year 2013–2014, highlighting investments of $4.6 billion across 25 focus countries. It outlines Canada’s five priority areas—stimulating sustainable economic growth, increasing food security, securing the future of children and youth, advancing democracy, and promoting stability and security—while emphasizing leadership in maternal, newborn and child health and humanitarian crisis response.
