Statistics on the Incentives for Medium-and Heavy-Duty Zero-Emission Vehicles Program (iMHZEV)

The iMHZEV Program offers Canadian organizations (for profit and non-profit), as well as provincial, territorial, municipal and Indigenous governments incentives towards the purchase/lease of eligible medium- and heavy-duty zero-emission vehicles (MHZEVs). To encourage Canadian organizations to adopt MHZEVs, the Government of Canada launched the Incentives for Medium- and Heavy-Duty Zero-Emission Vehicles (iMHZEV) Program on July 11, 2022. There are many different makes, models and vehicle classes of eligible zero-emission vehicles for purchase or lease. The iMHZEV Program’s incentives provide up to $200,000 per vehicle to a maximum of ten incentives per calendar year or $1 million in incentives per recipient, per calendar year (whichever is reached first).
