Nova Scotia Power Grant In Lieu
In accordance with the Nova Scotia Power Privatization Act, Nova Scotia Power (NSP) is exempt from property tax. Instead, NSP makes an annual payment to the Province, and the payment is distributed to municipalities in a manner determined by the Minister in consultation with the Nova Scotia Federation of Municipalities (NSFM).
