The Canada Pension Plan (CPP) disability benefit is a monthly payment made to eligible CPP contributors who are unable to work regularly at any job because of a severe and prolonged disability. This dataset provides information on the net amount paid to all CPP disability beneficiaries during a calendar year, from 1970 to 2024. Data are disaggregated by province. Payments made under international agreements on social security are not included.
