Operating permits - water systems — water quality reports
This dataset encompasses all operating permits issued since the start of the operating permit program (2019-present). It includes a complete history of water quality reports. Operating permits are required for new and existing cooling towers, decorative water features, building water treatment systems and rainwater harvesting/non-potable water systems. Voluntary participants in the operating permit program are not included. Once through cooling operating permits are not included. Operating permits for water systems allow the City and health authorities to respond more effectively to incidents, mitigate health risks by pathogens (such as Legionella pneumophila) and ensure on-going compliance with public health protection standards.
