Pavement condition rating - major road network 2021

Major Road Network (MRN) PCI data is provided by Translink. This data was collected between 2020-2021 at a maximum interval of 50m, on 1 lane in each direction. Pavement Condition data collected between 2020-2021, is used to report the overall pavement condition (PCI) at the network level by considering surface distresses. The pavement distresses and condition ratings follow the American Society of Testing Materials (ASTM) D6433 standard. Limitations: Data is only collected from 1-2 vehicular travel lanes, the asset condition on every lane for the entire road width was not collected. The pavement condition rating shown may not represent the full pavement width. Note PCI Rating Descriptions: Very Good: The asset is fit for the future. It is well maintained, in good condition, new or recently rehabilitated. Good: The asset is adequate. It is acceptable and generally within the mid-stage of its expected service life. Fair: The asset requires attention. The asset shows signs of deterioration and some elements exhibit deficiencies.
