A francization certificate is issued to a company when the use of French is widespread at all levels of the company, in all of its activities in Quebec. A company with 25 or more people can be considered compliant with the francization process, even if it has not yet obtained its francization certificate. It is thus possible for a company that has not yet been certified to receive a grant, to participate in a public tender or to conclude a contract with an administrative body if it holds a certificate of registration with the Office or another valid document from the Office confirming its compliance. For more information on this subject, see the box Obtaining a grant or a public contract on the [Businesses] page (https://www.oqlf.gouv.qc.ca/francisation/entreprises/#Obtention-subvention) of the Office's website.
