The BC Stats Outdoor Recreation Satellite Account (ORSA) is based on the BC Stats Input-Output Model. ORSA estimates the macroeconomic impacts of outdoor recreation activities in BC. The macroeconomic indicators include GDP, income, jobs and taxes generated by the outdoor recreation sector in British Columbia. ORSA can also be used to estimate the economic impact of households and governments spending on goods and services related to outdoor recreation.
