This study aimed to evaluate the acute and sub-chronic/chronic toxic effects of emerging short- and ultra-short per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) on aquatic invertebrates exposed to various chemical concentrations. The endpoints assessed included immobility, mortality, reproduction, and body size in Daphnia magna, as well as morphological changes and reproduction in Hydra vulgaris.
