This dataset provides a count of the number of wastewater operator licences held in Ontario. • Municipal wastewater facilities and non-municipal domestic wastewater facilities that discharge to a watercourse must employ licenced wastewater operators. • Wastewater operators require licencing under O. Reg. 129/04 to operate There are two types of wastewater operator licence: o Wastewater treatment o Wastewater collection • Wastewater licences range from operator-in-training (OIT) through Class 1-4.
