In the fall of 2024, the Kingston Moves household travel survey was conducted to provide a snapshot of travel patterns and behaviours in the City. The results provide a highlight of daily travel in Kingston that help inform transportation planning work, as well as broader city-wide transportation policies and future capital project planning. The data from the 2024 Household Travel Survey is divided into three datasets: Households, Persons and Trips. All three datasets are anonymized to protect respondents confidentiality of personal information. The anonymized dataset has been rounded to ensure privacy while keeping the overall results as accurate and unbiased as possible.
