The original ecoforest map and inventory results are a collection of ecoforest data including the original ecoforest map and numerous other tables that provide information directly related to forest stands. The information in this dataset corresponds to the portrait of the forest up to the year of aerial photography. This data covers six categories of information: The original ecoforest map made up of ecoforest polygons. This is the geographic base to which all other data is attached; Forest compilations that contain, among other things, gross market volumes evaluated by species, by attribution group (e.g., SEPM) and by type of species (e.g., softwood); The ecological classification of Quebec territory; Data on the characterization of forest stations and characteristics of wood; Wood quality characterization data; Forest biomass and carbon. This map covers almost all of the territory south of the 52nd parallel of Quebec's public and private forest. It is distributed by map sheet at a scale of 1/250,000.
