Proposed Special Review Decision PSRD2022-01 Special review of chlorothalonil and its associated end-use products

With respect to human health, dietary risks (food alone and food plus water) were not shown to be acceptable for food uses when chlorothalonil is used according to current conditions of registration. Based on this, all food uses of chlorothalonil are proposed for cancellation and all maximum residue limits (MRLs) are proposed for revocation. Environmental risks to aquatic organisms were not shown to be acceptable for all outdoor uses when chlorothalonil is used according to current conditions of registration.
