Acute toxicity of three alkylbenzene sulfonates to the freshwater algae (Chlamydomonas reinharditii)

The toxicity of three alkylbenzene sulfonate (ABS) surfactants was assessed in 96-hour acute toxicity tests using freshwater algae, Chlamydomonas reinhardtii. Detection events were analysed using flow cytometry and enumerated at the beginning and end of the test.
