This data includes the characteristics of Ontario Works and Ontario Disability Support Program cases, by census metropolitan area, and by the province including: * family type * family size * primary applicant's age and sex * consecutive months on social assistance A census metropolitan area (CMA) is formed by one or more adjacent municipalities centred on a population centre (known as the core).
