GC HR and Pay - Progress Against Commitments

This collection of documents shows progress on commitments in HR and pay, addressing both current operations and transformation. Human Capital Management (HCM) within Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) is helping ensure transparent accountability by providing a clear overview of progress to date through monthly commitment trackers and supporting documentation. Data for the latest quarter is available online. Commitments are reviewed and adjusted annually. Current Operations: We are focused on improving HR and pay services within our existing systems until a replacement is implemented. Our efforts include maintaining and enhancing the current pay system and operations to ensure effective administration of pay and to reduce outstanding transactions. Transformation: Our transformation initiatives aim to find a replacement for the Phoenix pay system and most of the 30 HR systems used across the Government of Canada. We are exploring options to leverage data and utilize artificial intelligence (AI) to modernize HR and pay services. This includes identifying how new technology can be integrated into both current systems and future solutions.
