This data incorporates royalty revenue from 1970 to the present and is updated annually with royalty information from the previous year. The report is prepared by Energy's Strategic Policy area and represents summary, unaudited data. Revenue sources reported on include: natural gas & by-product royalty; conventional oil royalty; oil sands royalty; coal royalty; bonuses & sales of crown leases; and rentals & fees. As noted, the numbers are unaudited and can change when the final actual resources are reported.
