MacDirectory data (works, artists, events, and publications)
The MacDirectory ([macrepertoire.macm.org] (https://macrepertoire.macm.org)) is a diversified source of information on the collection, artists, events and publications produced since the founding of the Montreal Museum of Contemporary Art (MAC) in 1964. This dataset not only makes available to the general public the rich set of works, but more exceptionally the resources related to the Museum's collections and cultural programming. An unprecedented access to data to the national collection of contemporary art, with nearly 8,000 works, more than 1800 artists represented, more than 2,000 events that have contributed to the development of the visual arts community in Quebec and to the writing of its history since the 1960s (exhibitions, performances, conferences, etc.) as well as data on more than 800 MAC publications.
