Isotopic age determinations of some metamorphic and igneous rocks from Clinton Creek area, Yukon

Clinton Creek asbestos deposit is 77 km northwest of Dawson City on Clinton Creek in Yukon Territory. Eight samples of the Nasina Quartzite and Klondike Schist and one of a small granodiorite plug in the area were collected during 1975 and 1976 as part of a project to investigate the geology of the Clinton Creek asbestos deposit. Potassium-argon and rubidium-strontium analyses were performed to obtain dates for metamorphism of the area.
