Multiple species toxicity of selected platinum group of elements: focusing on Hydra vulgaris gene expression responses

This study investigates the aquatic toxicity of various platinum group elements (PGEs) using multiple species, with a focus on morphological and genetic responses in Hydra vulgaris. Sublethal changes and significant gene expression alterations were detected, and findings suggest that PGEs can impact aquatic organisms at environmentally relevant concentrations near urban wastewater discharge sites.
