Consultation on National Security Submissions

The Government of Canada consulted Canadians on key elements of Canada's national security laws and policies to ensure they are effective at keeping Canadians safe, and equally reflect the rights, values and freedoms of Canadians. This consultation took place from September 8, 2016 to December 15, 2016. In the interests of openness and transparency, Public Safety Canada is making available to the public all responses received online as part of the consultations. This information is being released in two datasets containing all responses received through our online consultation portal and its associated email address between September 8- November 4, 2016, and November 5-December 15, 2016. All information has been released in the official language in which it was received, and has not been altered or redacted except to protect privacy and personal information (as defined in the Privacy Act).
