Health indicator : health adjusted life expectancy

Health adjusted life expectancy (HALE) is interpreted as the number of years of life remaining at age x, that a person would expect be in a full state of functional health, assuming the current mortality conditions and functional health prevalence remain in place throughout the remaining years of life.
