Azinphos-methyl (C10H12N3O3PS2) is an organophosphorus insecticide and acaricide used for the control of a variety of pests for many fruit, vegetable, grain and forage crops. The maximum acceptable concentration (MAC) for azinphos-methyl in drinking water is 0.02 mg/L (20 µg/L).
