This data shows how many new homes have been started towards municipal housing targets. 2023 and 2024 data were reviewed in 2024 and 2025. Data published here reflect post-review adjustments and may not align with Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation data as published in its 2023 and 2024 surveys (Starts and Completions Survey). However, over a two-year period, statistics across both organizations will align. Learn more about Ontario’s progress to build more homes faster.
