This dataset, based on its Volume II, provides the Ministerial Expenditures (in thousands of dollars) by Standard Object, for each Ministry and Department. This dataset is from the Public Accounts of Canada and is not the official record of information. The official version of record can be found on the Receiver General website for the most recent fiscal year and the Library and Archives website for historical years. The expenses of this dataset are broken into the following Standard Object codes: SO1 – Personnel SO2 – Transportation and communication SO3 – Information SO4 – Professional and special services SO5 – Rentals SO6 – Repair and maintenance SO7 – Utilities, materials and supplies SO8 – Acquisition of land, buildings and works SO9 – Acquisition of machinery and equipment SO10 – Transfer payments SO11 – Public debt charges SO12 – Other subsidies and payments
