Municipal elections - Polling divisions
For the purposes of holding a municipal election, the Act provides for the division of the territory of a municipality into polling divisions. Each of the polling divisions includes the voters registered on the electoral list at the addresses included within them. On the official election day, voters in a polling division are called upon to vote in a given location and polling station.
