Hazard Lands Development Permit Area

All parcels of land with slopes in excess of 15% gradient or which are within 30 meters downslope of such slopes where a development permit may be required for the protection of development from hazardous conditions. Subject to applicable exemptions, a development permit is required prior to the alteration or subdivision of land, or the construction, addition or alteration of a building or structure on the land. The proposed works/development must conform to applicable development permit guidelines for the protection of development from hazardous conditions.
