Specified Holidays for City of Kitchener

Lagan scriptflow checks the Lagan calendar table to determine if the current day is a holiday. This is done to determine if users should be presented the option to dispatch a parking by-law officer after business hours. Lagan administrators update the Lagan calendar table when specified holidays are published by human resources. This data set should be referenced when using other operational data sets to help understand the operating environment. This data set specifically addresses the need to train machine learning algorithms with specified holidays for predicting contact centre performance. This dataset is from 2016-2020 and will be maintained as data becomes available. Field Description Date the date for a specified holiday. Additional information: The LGNCC_Calendar table in the Lagan database contains a row for all dates. Each row has a HOLIND value. When HOLIND == 1, then the date is a holiday. Weekends appear as holidays. Since specified holidays are never on weekends, the query should remove all weekend dates.
