Surveyed Trees

Trees surveyed by the surveyors in our engineering department. This dataset will have better positional accuracy than our Parks Trees datasets, but not as many attributes, and some areas may be quite out of date. Surveyed trees data has been collected over the past several decades, so there may be trees in the dataset that no longer exist, and trees missing from the dataset that have not been surveyed yet. Trees are surveyed by city staff when they are in the area doing other project work, and copied to the Open Data Portal daily. For information on tree species and planting sites, see the "Tree Species" and "Tree Stumps, Vacant or Unacceptable Planting Sites" datasets in our Parks category. Data are updated by city staff as needed, and automatically copied to the Open Data Portal. The "Last Updated" date shown on our Open Data Portal refers to the last time the data schema was modified in the portal, or any changes were made to this description. We update our data through automated scripts which does not trigger the "last updated" date to change.
