Flowing through time: the Glenmore-Ellison water legacy

The Glenmore-Ellison area is on the traditional, ancestral, unceded territory of the syilx/Okanagan people. The stories included in this StoryMap focus on the birth and evolution of the Glenmore-Ellison Improvement District (GEID) and do not reflect the full history of the syilx people and their relationship with water. They have been and will continue to be stewards of the water that is the lifeblood of the land, animals and all people in the Okanagan.
