Buildings

Polygon Building feature class for the City of Kingston. Building and Building Structures are maintained/updated every 6 months to 1 year using the latest aerial imagery. This produces a Roofline status or in some cases a Foundation status. Buildings that are added between Ortho Photo collection periods are done via Building Permit and are foundation status. Non permanent structures such as sheds smaller than 5m are most often not produced. Demolished buildings are not removed but are given a demolished status. As with all planimetric feature data, the Building feature class is frequently being updated, therefore the data is not considered complete in nature.
