Urban Boundary

An important concept of the city’s growth strategy relates to the continued use of a boundary (referred to as an Urban Boundary) within which urban densities and infrastructure will be encouraged. The Urban Boundary will help the city to make the most of its existing resources, strengthening the downtown and the urban development of our city, while also maintaining a more rural character to the areas outside of the boundary.
