Building Permits (since they went digital in 1994)

Downloadable Building Permits data [CSV] which dates back to 1994 when records went digital: https://maps.victoria.ca/CustomMaps/OpenData/BuildingPermits.csv Business Licences data are copied to the Open Data Portal daily. This dataset excludes home-based, mobile, or out of town businesses. If a business is licenced for multiple years within that time period, it will appear multiple times within this document, with a different ISSUED_DATE for each entry. See also: Business Licences - Current Year for a list of current business licences. Data are updated by city staff as needed, and automatically copied to the Open Data Portal. The "Last Updated" date shown on our Open Data Portal refers to the last time the data schema was modified in the portal, or any changes were made to this description. We update our data through automated scripts which does not trigger the "last updated" date to change. Note: Attributes represent each field in a dataset, and some fields will contain information such as ID numbers. As a result some visualizations on the tabs on our Open Data page will not be relevant.
