Water System Valve

This dataset identifies gate, butterfly and alpha cap valves located throughout the City of Medicine Hat. The data includes characteristics of the water valves that support asset identification, year of installation, lifecycle management, and ownership information. Physical properties — including diameter of the valve is also present. The layer stores geometric information enabling accurate spatial analysis and reporting. Data is updated on an as‑needed basis from a variety of sources, including as‑built documentation and field verification. Accuracy may vary depending on the source and update timing.
