Municipal Drinking Intake Protection Zone Feature Layer

This is a polygon feature, which identifies an area encompassing the municipal water intake protection zones (IPZ-1, IPZ-2). These two water quality intake protection zones have been established to protect the area around the City’s surface water intake. The sources of data collection are the Lakehead Source Protection Plan (Lakehead Region Conservation Area, and figure 1 of the City of Thunder Bay Official Plan. The dataset contains the following: ObjectID Shape IPZ ID IPZ type Delineation Uncertainty Shape Length Shape Area Data was last updated October 1 2013.
