Welland Trees

This spatial data set contains points representing the location of City-owned trees in the City of Welland. The points were plotted using 2013 ortho imagery and verified in the field. Attributes were collected in the field using mobile data collection technologies. This data set is incomplete. Reasonable efforts have been made to include only City-owned trees in this data set, however due to the GIS and field data collection methods used to create the points, there may be instances where trees have been included that may be on private property. This data set is not to be used to determine the ownership of a tree where the ownership is in question. In those situations a survey would be required in order to make a reasonable determination of the owner of a particular tree.
