CLOCA - Integrated Water Monitoring Program - Coastal Monitoring Stations

Click to view Metadata The coastal wetlands component of the Integrated Monitoring Program includes 11 coastal wetlands along the shore of Lake Ontario. These wetlands are monitored annually as part of the larger Durham Region Coastal Wetland Monitoring Project. At each wetland, six ecological attributes are measured as proxies for wetland health; water quality, submerged aquatic vegetation community, aquatic macroinvertebrate community, fish community, bird community, and amphibian community.
