Region of Peel Waste Collection

Collection Day: Defines the day of the week waste is collected. Collection Alternation Garbage or Recycling: The zones used for the collection of solid waste (garbage, recycling [blue bin], and organics [green bin]). COLLECTDAY defines the day of the week. COLLECTSUB defines the alternation between garbage and recyling pickup from week to week. If a collection sub group for Monday "A" has garbage collected on a particular week, Monday "B" will have recycling collected that same week. Organics (green bin) is collected every week. Collection Day Sub-Group defines the alternation between garbage and recycling pickup from week to week. If a collection sub group for Monday "A" has garbage collected on a particular week, Monday "B" will have recycling collected that same week. PLEASE NOTE: The zones generally follow the centre line of the Roads. However, properties on both sides of a road that straddle a boundary may have the same collection day (to minimize resident confusion).
