2025 OCP Riparian Protection Bylaw 9525
Riparian areas are areas of land and vegetation adjacent to watercourses that provides a range of important functions, including fish and wildlife habitat, erosion and sediment control, flood protection, and overall stream bank stability. Riparian areas need to remain in an undisturbed state in order to provide these functions.
