Median subtypes are defined as: Central - A raised concrete median dividing a road Island - Includes all raised medians not dividing the centre of a road. This includes turning lane islands, cul-de-sac islands and pork chop medians Planter - Raised concrete planter boxes, usually located on either side of speed tables or speed humps.
