In 2001 and 2002 magnetotelluric (MT) measurements were made on Baffin Island, Nunavut. The surveys were undertaken as part of the GSC's multidisciplinary Central Baffin project to study the northern margin of the Paleoproterozoic Trans-Hudson Orogen.
