--- This is a 10 Year Report by court level, division and class, as represented by the Court Services Branch. • “Session Hours” refers to the amount of time a matter is heard in court. • “Scheduled Court Appearances” refers to the number of occasions when cases are scheduled to be before the court for a specific reason, such as the first appearance, case conference, trial, and sentencing. (* Note that not all scheduled appearances occur, and they may be adjourned prior to the appearance date). • “New Court Cases” generally refers to the number of new filings received in a court location that initiate a case, including files transferred from another registry for disposition. • “Concluded Cases” indicates the number of Provincial Court criminal cases with a final disposition recorded against all charges on an Information or ticket. • Fiscal Year datasets are available and are based on when the matter was heard.
